Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!!

Tonight we took the twins for their first trick or treat. They had so much fun!!!! Last year they just slept and they were only 2 months old. Next year they will be able to walk on their own. We are so tired. Try carrying around a 22 lb baby boy for 2 hours. Sam did get to carry the lighter one, Amaya, but I also let him push the stroller around. Buck was a little disappointed that he wasn't able to sport around his scarecrow costume!
Avery and Amaya were just gabbing and giggling the whole time. Our trick or treat started at 6:30p and ended at 8:30p and their bedtime is 8pm. Needless to say they were hungry and tired at the end. They should sleep very well tonight. The temperature outside was around 70 and a light breeze. It was absolutely gorgeous!!!! All the fresh air will do them well!!!!

They received lots of attention as a baby turtle (Avery) and baby duck (Amaya)! We only took one bag for all of their candy. Our dentist office is buying every pound of candy for $1 and then sending it all to the troops in Iraq. We figured this was perfect for us to be able to donate all of their loot!!!! What else would we do with all of their candy????
Is it bedtime yet???

Enjoy the photos!!!

Another Day

The twins are growing up so quickly that I just cannot believe they are just shy of 14 months old. The birthday was great and they had a blast opening presents and getting messy with their cakes. For our last get together for them, they had so much fun. Not to mention they got to meet their newest cousin, Emalyn Arnold. (Not really related by family, but in our hearts they are a part of our family.)

Amaya is trying her hand at standing. She gets so excited and tries to rock and then falls on her bottom. She has been standing longer and longer and she loves her praise for standing. Avery is standing occasionally, but he could care less.

They are interacting with one another so much more. They are already beginning their own communication log. They will look at each other and one will start babbling and then the other will start giggling hysterically. It so cute! It is so cute just to observe them especially when they don't think anyone is watching.

We are looking forward to Halloween next week and have costumes ready. We are going trick or treating and donating all of our candy to the troops in Iraq. They are too young to be upset for not having any candy, but I'm sure they would realize at some point it is for a good cause.
I'll post more pics next week!
Until then...............................
